Clinical Experience: 25 years in outpatient community mental health and private practice in Williamsburg, VA including 15 years as a senior staff psychologist in the Chapter 10 Community Mental Health System with expansive public speaking responsibilities

Consultative Experience: Author of many family studies publications from 1970-1998; appearances on network television and public radio; columnist for various Virginia newspapers; workshop presenter and keynote speaker for local, state and national conferences and conventions in social work, psychology, counselor education, primary school eduation, higher education, nursing, emergency rescue service, medicine, and law; long-time systems consultant for hospital ER's and ICU's and local governments; consultations to the Virginia Court System

Community Involvment: Active on numerous board o directors of human service agencies from 1975-1990 in Tidewater Virginia; active in local government citizen committees in James City County, VA; President of the Williamsburg Area Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in Williamsburg, VA (1979-1992); Past President of the Virginia Federation of Humane Societies; experienced Virginia wildlife rehabilitator; member of the Board of Directors of the Smoky Mountain Animal Care Foundation (SMACF) in Blount County, TN; a Charter Board Member of Mountain Miatas of East Tennessee
